Hey! Did you know my parents were born in Lithuania, and my sister lived there for about 10 years, and that her husband is from there?

Labas = hello

Aciu = thank you

Sidieu = good bye

I learned to speak Lithuanian before I learned English, but since I grew up in a small USA town with no other Lithuanians, I soon forgot it.

Big point: When you get words from another source, you need to add a link or a phrase such as "According to the Wikipedia,..." You could also put a sentence at the end that says, "I got this information from... .

If you don't to this, you could be accused of stealing someone else's words, which is a very big deal. When you get some time, just add some words about where you got this information.

Nice photos. I know I bit about Mexico, but not too much. I actually went there once, long ago. I forget the name... it was right on the border between Texas and Mexico. I crossed the Rio Grande river, the border line between the two countries.

One big problem: Mexico is poorer than the USA, so many people try to enter the US illegally. This is called "illegal immigration," and it's a very controversial issue. Have you heard about this?

Recently at TCFL I attended a World Around Us lecture, and the speech was about Mexico. One new thing I learned: Mexico is a VERY multi-cultural society! That was new to me.

Oh, you should also add some hyperlinks to more info about Mexico. One good website to check out is http://lonelyplanet.com

Hey, nice introduction to Belgium. Where did you get this information? It would be good to include a hyperlink to your source. This would make it easy for people to get more information.

Oh, about this sentence:

I ever tasted them, that were really marvelous.

What do you mean? It's not clear if you have tasted them or not. If yes, you could write, "I have tasted them, and they were really marvelous." If not, then you could write, "I have never tasted them, but I've heard they are really marvelous." See the difference?

This is a nice post! Very informative. One point: Where did you get this information? What are your sources for this information? You need to cite them by adding a hyperlink or the phrase, "according to..." Another idea is to add a line at the beginning saying, "I did some research about London over at the Wikipedia, and here is what I found out." This is very important- never pass off the words of others as your own.
